| The Microsolve Set Point Instrument
covers all the requirements that you may have in a process
control environment. This state of the art instrument
uses a 10 bit analogue to digital microprocessor technology
to bring you an inexpensive yet reliable and accurate
instrument. Designed using the minimum of components
for long term reliability, the measuring algorithm takes
approximately 200 readings per second, yet the display
is updated in such a manner that the reading is comfortable
on the eye. |
Single
Phase Volt / Amp Meters |
Setting of the instrument
requires that the user press the panel set point switch
to ensure that the set point is not changed unintentionally.
Since the setting potentiometer is a digital potentiometer,
the position of the potentiometer does not affect the
reading until it is rotated. |
| |
Span adjustment is a simple
procedure. Remove the front bezel, and with an insulated
pliers select the span adjustment jumper position. Please
note that the instrument points are at the measured
value potential, and steps must be taken not to touch
any points of the instrument board, as a fatal shock
may occur Then using the digital potentiometer, set
the span according to the input. The same procedure
is used to set the maximum range of the set point. This
option is ideal as a safety limit, to ensure that operators
cannot set a higher value than the limit, ensuring that
damage is avoided on equipment being monitored. |
